| NALS 2021 Virtual Lily Show & Symposium News Welcome to another news brief for the North American Lily Society (NALS) 1st Virtual International Lily Show & Symposium! In this newsletter we are focusing on the Annual NALS Membership Meeting, Registration for the Virtual Show & Events, and the NALS Virtual Auction. Registration for Virtual Show & Events!  Registration is OPEN for the 1st Virtual International Lily Show & Symposium! We do have a nominal registration fee of $15 USD to attend the Virtual International Lily Show and Symposium. This fee includes all programming, meetings, and the Lily Show. Please view the Registration page on the 1st Virtual International Lily Show & Symposium website for details.Our Lily Show Team has constructed exciting show schedules for Horticulture and Floral Design at our 2021 Virtual Lily Show. If you plan to exhibit your photographs of horticulture stems or floral design in the Lily Show, please pay the $15 registration fee, fill-out the online registration form to receive your unique Registrant/Exhibitor number, and then proceed to the Lily Show page to review instructions for participating in the Lily Show. NALS Virtual Auction!  We are excited to announce that the 2021 NALS Virtual Auction will be run from an auction site, very similar to eBay, called Auctria. Our Auction will be open for bidding from Sunday, August 22 to Friday, August 27. You will need to register in advance of the auction to participate, credit card payments are the only payment method accepted for this auction, and your bid will also include shipping. Further details for participating in the virtual auction will be available in subsequent newsletters and the NALS Quarterly Bulletin publication.Though it is early, we are looking for donations for the 2021 NALS Virtual Auction. Please contact Tracey Nelson at traceynelson@me.com if you would like to donate to the virtual auction. Some suggestions include; lily bulbs, seedlings started in pots or test tubes, lilium related items suitable for home and garden, lily books, lily photographs, lily paintings, lily apparel, lily note cards, and other items related to lilies.
